Belub & Prolub, a story written by several hands

News

We took advantage of the start of the summer to launch work on the 3rd chapter of the BELUB epic. PROLUB ».

At the end of 2025, we reach the end of the 2nd chapter of our epic. A quick look in the rear-view mirror before we talk about the next chapter.

Chapter 1: Project creation and development

The first chapter, led by Olivier Heine and Olivier Leclercq.

It includes in bulk: the definition of the project including its missions and values, the transfer of activities from the Engine House to BELUB, the move to our offices and depot on rue du petit chêne, the strengthening of our collaboration with our main partners and the development of the team with an organisation focused on customer needs and structured into two sections: the «external» section in charge of technical-commercial development and the «internal» section in charge of operations and the back office. This first chapter ends tragically with the unexpected death of Olivier Heine at the end of May 2019.

Chapter 2: 2020 - 2025 «Objective Moon»

Objectif Lune« was born out of the need to bounce back after the loss of our »source«. At the end of 2019, we collectively defined our ambition for growth, which has driven us ever since.

This chapter was marked by :
- expanding our teams to support our growth ambitions,
- the acquisition and implementation of an integration process between BELUB and PROLUB,
- adding new skills and reflecting on our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
It's been a fulfilling period for many of us, and we'll be taking stock at the end of the next 2025 financial year.

Chapter 3: Strengthening the impact of our project for our customers and partners

To carry out this work, we have called on the expertise of La Smala and we're using one of the tools developed within this cooperative, which brings together all those in the entrepreneurial world who want to have an «impact» on the world of tomorrow: The Strategic Pyramid.

This pyramid is first built on the basis of the entrepreneur's personal work to define his raison d'être.

It is then developed with a project team, and finally with all the teams to cover the following themes:

- Update of the BELUB/PROLUB Group's Vocation, Mission and Values
- Updating our Vision
- Developing our strategic priorities and operational focus

The reference period takes us to 2030, so there's no reason to limit our ambitions!

Sophie Joris and Philippe Drouillon will be working with us on this project. The first workshop was a great success!

Our work is scheduled to continue until the end of this year.

Thank you to Didier, Luc Franssen, Mélanie Henrotte, Nicolas Daenen and Patrick for devoting some of their time and energy to this project during the 2nd half of the year.

Thank you to all the teams for their time and energy during our next green days in December 2024, for which the agenda is already known.

«Work in progress, to be continued in early 2025!
