Belub's Skills Assessment

Belub, Partners

Founded in 2016, Belub has experienced continuous growth thanks to a clear mission: to optimize the lifespan and efficiency of industrial installations through flexible and sustainable lubrication solutions, based on three pillars: Technical Expertise – Economy – Sustainability.

The company is structured around three key activities: warehouse and logistics, a service that acts as the link between customers and suppliers, and the technical sales department.

As part of its move to a new logistics center, Belub wanted to anticipate which skills would need to be strengthened during this transition. The skills assessment helped them clearly map their own value chain.

From the formalization of each role and its associated tasks and responsibilities, to highlighting the connections between them. Instead of viewing each task as an isolated element, a coherent vision emerged: how the company operates and which competencies need to be strengthened to evolve into a more future-oriented, efficient, and high-performing organization. The results can be surprising; in Belub's case, soft skills proved to be just as important as technical skills when preparing for the future.

"We highly recommend this approach to any organization looking to structure its development and enhance its internal competencies. These job descriptions provide an excellent foundation for discussions with every employee in the company and for identifying the skills that need to be developed for the future."

SMEs need to be able to adapt quickly, especially during periods of strong growth or major change, as was the case at Belub. The skills assessment supports your company in aligning roles, responsibilities, and competencies with your ambitions. A shared vision of existing competencies also helps you build a training plan that is genuinely connected to the reality of your business, while strengthening the digital, social, and organizational skills required for sustainable growth.

Integrated into an HR strategy, the skills assessment stands out through its clear added value: it is free for SMEs in the sector and fully customized to the specific needs and culture of the company. Developed through co-creation with teams and an external consultant, the process does not result in general or theoretical recommendations, but rather in a concrete, immediately actionable plan tailored to the company. By actively involving all employees, you encourage buy-in, strengthen engagement, and support a collective dynamic. This personalized approach serves as a true development lever, benefiting both your teams and your company’s strategy.

"Companies that have already used this service rely on the skills assessment to address a wide range of practical and diverse challenges: structuring digital learning pathways, developing competency matrices, clarifying role expectations, and defining and embedding company values."
